Joby has released a camera strap that is designed to hold and stabilize your DSLRs in any situation. Here we review the Joby Ultrafit Camera Sling Strap so you can decide if it’s worth buying for yourself!

The “joby pro sling strap review” is a camera strap that is designed to be used with DSLR cameras. It has a carrying handle, and it comes in different colors.

Have you ever noticed how camera straps aren’t very comfortable? Dangling your costly and heavy gear is inconvenient, and it doesn’t guarantee that your camera won’t be damaged by objects or people as you go about your day. Many individuals carry their camera on their side, either across their torso or on just one shoulder, with their usual camera strap. Both work, however hanging your camera from one shoulder isn’t very secure, and draping it across your torso makes it difficult to reach your camera. The Sling Strap Joby UltraFit is the answer.

The Joby UltraFit Sling Strap is intended to sit across your torso, distributing the weight of your DSLR and lens over your shoulder muscles rather than your neck. Your camera is nestled securely against your back immediately below your less dominant elbow while in the locked position, giving you a lower profile and keeping your camera out of harm’s way. Your camera will not swing as you walk if it is properly adjusted and cinched in, which is healthier for both of your bodies.

Joby UltraFit Sling Strap

Joby now provides three sling strap options. The UltraFit Sling Strap for men, the UltraFit Sling Strap for women, and the Pro Sling Strap are all available. They’re all black with a center grey accent. The men’s and pro straps come in a variety of sizes, while the women’s straps are one size fits all. The women’s strap has a small bend in it for a more comfortable fit around the feminine body and is intended for a thinner frame.

The Pro strap is constructed of a slightly different material than the UltraFit, making it somewhat more durable and heavier (88g for women, 99g for men, 110-116g for Pro). The Ultrafit is composed of Aluminum, Glass-Filled Nylon Plastic, Nylon Webbing, Stainless Steel, and Steel, while the Pro is built of ABS plastic, Nylon webbing, and steel. Basically, this smorgasbord of high-end technological materials is the ideal combination for ensuring that your camera does not fall. Bonus! The camera tether (redundancy strap) is included in the Pro version, which provides additional protection in the event that your tripod mount fails. The Pro version does not available in men’s and women’s sizes, but it does come in a variety of sizes.

The UltraFit Sling Strap costs about $30 USD and the Pro Sling Straps cost around $40 USD at the time of writing this review. Originally, there was no option to add a camera tether to your order, thus skipping it looked like an unnecessary risk. However, the camera tether may now be added to the UltraFit Sling Strap for an additional $8 USD. So, for the price of two lattes, you get additional protection and piece of mind for your thousands of dollars in equipment—money well spent.

The SpeedCinchTM System is a system that allows you to get things done

The UltraFit has a patent-pending SpeedCinchTM pulley system that allows you to easily reach your camera when you want to snap a picture. This eliminates the need to disentangle yourself from your camera strap in order to snap a picture; just reach for your camera and draw it to your eye. If you’re not in the locked position, the pulley system automatically lengthens the strap so you don’t have to mess with it. The lock is located directly next to the camera mount and can be opened with a simple flick of your thumb. When you’re done taking a picture, there’s a ring that rests on your breast bone that you may use to assist you return the camera to its resting position. You may either choose to lock your camera in that position or keep it ready for the next picture at this point. If you leave your camera unlocked, the weight of the camera will gradually work its way down your side.

A conventional tripod mount connects the camera to your strap. If you tighten it a bit too tightly, a rubber cushion will rest flat against your camera body, protecting it from harm. It’s simple to tighten using a half moon turn method, or you may use a quarter or a Twoonie (not to be confused with the two pounds sterling, which may be a bit too wide for this purpose).

The “b&h camera strap” is a very simple, but effective product that offers flexibility and durability. It can be used for any type of camera, tripod, or even as a sling strap.
