- Nvidia drivers (make sure they come with the latest version of the Nvidia control panel for the installed GPU).
- DisplayPort, because you can only get G-Sync and a 144Hz refresh rate through DisplayPort and not HDMI.

Once you have Nvidia open, select Desktop Color Settings on the left side of the screen > select Use Nvidia Settings on the right >; we will use the color channel drop-down menu to switch between the different groups of settings but check that the default is set to All Channels. If everything is OK, use the following settings.
All channels
- Brightness (level) : +45%
- Contrast (Level) : +55%
- Gamma: +0.96
- Digital Vibration (Level) : +45%
Red channel
- Brightness (level) : +40%
- Contrast (Level) : +70%
- Gamma: +100
Green channel
- Brightness (level) : +50%
- Contrast (Level) : +50%
- Gamma: +0.89
Blue channel
- Brightness (level) : +50%
- Contrast (Level) : +50%
- Gamma: +1.00
Make sure you have entered the settings correctly and that you have applied the changes. Next, close the Nvidia Control Panel and restart the computer to see if the settings have been applied. The calibration options for the Dell S2716DG are not very complicated, and if you follow the steps below, you should already be able to see visible improvements in color quality.
