This is a review of an accessory organizer for your laptop.

It’s possible that the Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer isn’t for everyone. If you like to put all of your electronic gadgets in a pouch, zip it up, and go, the Fjallraven Gear Pockets are for you. However, if you enjoy having a place for everything and keeping your odd bits and bobs organized and accessible, you’ll love all the Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer offers.

We’ve spent the last month in Essex, England, putting this helpful organizer in a daypack and going to a coffee shop or co-working place. So let’s have a look at the specifics.

Aesthetics & Materials

The Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer has a refined, elegant design that we like. You can get it in Mulberry, Olive, Navy, and Black at the time of this review. The colors are muted and earthy, which we believe adds to the classiness. We also appreciate how the branding is kept to a bare minimum—there’s a logo badge inside one of the inner pockets.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer In The Aer Fit Pack 2The sleek body of the organizer is also quite appealing. It fits effortlessly into backpacks and doesn’t take up much space.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer MaterialIt’s composed of nylon and polyester and feels nearly smooth on the touch. We also like that it doesn’t gather dust or lint (you’d be shocked how much gear our testers have tried that does). It’s also straightforward to clean with just a brush of your fingers if the organizer picks anything up.

The Organizer Inside

Before we go into the pocket tour, we’d like to point out that this organizer is lined with a lustrous, silky material that we like. It’s not only comfortable to wear, but it’s also slick enough that you can easily slip your belongings into and out of the different pockets.

There’s a lot of organizing in this organizer right now. Are you all set? Let’s get started.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Front Pocket PassthroughFirst and foremost, there’s a zipped front pocket with no other organizing. Because you don’t have to unzip the main compartment, it’s a nice place for things you’ll need fast, but it doesn’t have enough depth for anything significant. Perhaps a tiny notepad or sticky notes for all those great ideas you need to jot down as they come to you. There’s also a cable pass-through, allowing you to change things in the main compartment.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Clamshell OpenLet’s have a look inside the main container. It opens clamshell, making it easy to view and access everything. We love this design since it’s easy to put on a coffee shop table or a co-working space desk and have everything you need there.

There’s an elasticated pen keeper on the left side, which is helpful. We usually bring a pen when we travel, and it’s great to have a place to store it, so it doesn’t be dragged into the abyss that pens (and bobby pins) are sucked into.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Felt FabricOne of our favorite features of this organizer is the large zippered pocket next to the pen loop. It’s lined with a silky, soft material that feels oh-so-luxurious (and after a month of use, it’s still soft). It’s beautiful because if you’re feeling worried, you can run your fingertips over it and handle all of your worries melt away. On the other hand, this soft pocket is a perfect place to store things that don’t need to be scratched. Take, for example, your phone.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Passport In SleeveTwo sleeves are in front of that. While heavier goods will fit, we suggest keeping flat items here. Putting bulky objects in these sleeves would distort the elasticated loops on top of them, making it difficult to use the remainder of the organizer’s area properly. Items that are flat, such as a thin softcover notepad, tiny documents, passports, and so on, work well.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Elasticated LoopsThere are three elasticated loops on top of it. A structural separator separates the loops from the sleeves above, and it seems like it has some plastic inside. It’s a lovely addition that makes slipping items in and out of the loops a breeze (the silky lining we mentioned earlier also helps with this). We’ve stored headphones, various cables, a tiny pen, and other things in this location.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Small Zippered PocketA tiny zipped pocket is located at the bottom of the bag. Although accessing what’s within may be challenging, we appreciate that this pocket exists. It’s a beautiful location to keep tiny things like SIM cards, jewelry, and a USB drive that you don’t want to lose.

Although the left side of the organizer has a tiny bit of cushioning to assist with drops, it is far from a failsafe. Likewise, there is no cushioning on the right side.

There are a few additional elasticated loops in the center of the organizer, where we’ve placed another pen (do you think we have enough cells?).

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Mesh PocketsAnd with that, we’ve arrived at the right side of the organizer. This set has three elastic mesh pockets, each distinct in size. The top one is the biggest and can accommodate multiple charges, including laptop chargers. Other random cables or smaller chargers may be stored in the most petite mesh pocket, which is closest to the organizer’s center. You may store an Apple Magic Mouse or anything similar in the middle-sized organizer.

The fact that these compartments are all mesh allows you to view what’s going on within. We also appreciate the fact that the top has some flexibility.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Mesh Pocket FoldThere’s also a tiny flap at the top of each pocket to prevent your belongings from tumbling out, which works…sort of. It won’t prevent anything from slipping out, especially larger, heavier items—that Apple Magic Mouse we mentioned before has already slipped out of the pocket. However, it performs well, particularly with tiny things. Just keep in mind that things may move while you’re waiting.

Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer Divider Behind The MeshA big sleeve is hidden below the mesh sleeves. It’s a good location for thinner goods once again. Another notepad, a small paperback, stuff like that.

That’s all there is to it. Overall, we like the way things are set up. However, if you like to toss your belongings into a big fat bucket and go on with your day, this organizer isn’t for you. If you have a lot of heavy electronic gear, it’s also not ideal.

Finally, before we finish up our study, we’d like to point out that any of the above-mentioned organizing systems may be folded flat when not in use, which is very convenient. You don’t have to use anything if it doesn’t work for you, and it won’t get in the way.

In addition, this bag is ideal for business trips. You don’t want to be searching in one of those bottomless bags for a pen during a conference (or whatever). Everything is already clean, tidy, and at your fingertips with this bag. It’s also professional enough to keep out since it doesn’t gather up dirt (as previously stated).

Testing & Durability

We’ve been trying the Incase Nylon Accessory Organizer for almost a month, as we said at the start of this review. Having to arrange all of those everyday electronic essentials—pens, chargers, notebooks, and so on—has been a huge help.

Unfortunately, we have a small problem with durability to disclose. We discovered a few loose threads around the outside, one of which is very bothersome and protrudes significantly, which isn’t great. Hopefully, this isn’t a foreshadowing of things to come.
